Ed Hardy Ladies Shoes
Ladies shoes have long been a very interesting part of our outfits. For some reason, especially in the last couple of hundred years, ladies shoes have been more decorative than men’s shoes. In Shakespeare’s day, men’s footwear was quite elaborate but currently, this is not the case. For women, however, shoes can be incredibly elaborate.
Sometimes they’ve been so decorative that they’ve actually looked like instruments of torture. Generations of women suffered foot pain through wearing stiletto heels or very high platform shoes. This has nothing to do with the shoe manufacturers. It has more to do with women’s choices that involve wearing shoes that are not the right size.
If you are looking at the range of ladies shoes that are out there in this day and age, you will see that there are a lot more practical shoes and a lot more concern about the comfort. There are fragile-looking and spectacular and unusual shoes that have had a lot of attention paid to their structure in terms of comfort and wear-ability. Modern day technology and materials allow for ladies shoes that range from transparent to multicolored to traditional to space age.
Many women collect shoes, and have shoes for every occasion. Often they have shoes that they never actually get to wear because there are no occasions for them to wear some of them. These are true collectors. A neighbor buys shoes she really likes in pairs just in case they are no longer available and the first pair wears out.
Another friend of mine saw a pair of shoes that her daughter was buying. They went with nothing that she wore and besides she had no place to wear them. She had a social life, but it was in the tried and true circle that she had been involved with for years. That’s where all her entertaining and activity took place.
These shoes were so unusual that she just had to have a pair, and after seeking permission from her daughter, she bought an identical pair in her own size. The daughter granted permission laughingly, because where her mother wants to wear these dramatic, colorful and unusual ladies shoes was just around the house. They were whimsical and made her feel like Cinderella after the prince had found her.
